Through my scientific reading, I give advice to governments and intergovernmental bodies, corporations and individuals, on the prevention and resolution of deadly conflicts, thus ringing early warning alarm while contributing, on both process and substance, to critical peace negotiations by producing highly detailed analysis and advice on specific policy issues in scores of conflict or potential conflict situations around the world, helping policymakers in the UN Security Council through provided detailed information unobtainable elsewhere on developments regarding conflict, mass violence, and terrorism. I provide information of a particular utility to policymakers by offering new strategic thinking on some of the world’s most intractable conflicts and crises, e.g., on the Iran nuclear issue, the role of Islamism worldwide, the Arab-Israeli conflict. Human beings have been so creative in developing the instruments of world destruction, and international war is the kind of violence that threatens to destroy the world. History reveals to us that force is used by governments as much as by those who challenge it, and unfair distribution of privileges often turn into rebellions motivated by honor and revenge. For thousands of years, Kabalists’, priests, fortune tellers, mystics, and other writers went on interpreting, calculating, scheming and predicting. The word “kabalah” means the tradition of the symbolic interpretation of religious and classical books.
